In this video I try to understand the working of the output setup on the Dr. John Trump electrostatic generator. when we look at it, we see the same output setup with the diodes like Don Smith.
After doing some more thinking I realized that what I´m doing with the discharge of the capacitor is automatically done in the variable capacitor because we take away the plates from each other :)
Allthough this is low voltage, I think I can see the basic behaviour of the circuit. That is, if I correctly understand the diode direction.
