At 10pm HPD received a call of a crash that occurred at Fondren near the 6700 block.
Citizen was traveling in an Infiniti northbound who struck an elderly woman with a walker to cross the St.
Woman succumbed to her wounds on scene, pronounced deceased by HFD.
Woman was not walking on a crosswalk.
Driver showed no signs of impairment.
Woman lives in the neighborhood.
Young female driver had no history of reckless driving
