These herbivores eat a variety of plant material â including the ones in their habitat in the African Savannah Building! đż A key part of habitat design involves our Horticulture â Habitats team, who ensure that plants inside habitats not only resemble what plants they would encounter in the wild, but also are safe for our animals should they choose to eat them. Judging by the size of the bites on the ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia), it sure looks like this tortoise was enjoying this leafy snack! đ
