We’re zooming into #WatermelonBabyWednesday with some zoomies from our female Malayan tapir calf ‘Nyawa’! 💨

Despite their barrel shape, Malayan tapirs are surprisingly agile, reaching speeds of 48 kilometres per hour. These odd-toed ungulates use unguligrade locomotion, walking on their toes for incredible bursts of speed. 🏃‍♀️
