Hello, welcome to EZ Eatery! Today we're making this super moist and absolutely delicious banana split cake. In total, there are only 7 ingredients and it is quite the crowd pleaser. No joke, everybody was asking for this recipe. The hardest part about this recipe is resisting the urge to eat the cake while it is cooling. This banana split cake, not only looks amazing and impressive, but it is one of the tastiest desserts to disappear in a jiffy.
Easy Banana Split Cake
1 Box Angel Food Cake Mix (I used Betty Crocker)
1 20 oz Can of Crushed Pineapple
1 8 oz Tub Cool Whip
1 21 oz Can Strawberry Pie Filling
1 10 oz Jar Maraschino Cherries
2 Bananas
Some Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapples (juice and all) and box of angel food cake mix. Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Pour cake mix and bake for 35 minutes (or until the top is brown). Let cool for at least 2 hours. Slice bananas and cover top of cake. Add can of strawberry pie filling (try to spread over entire cake mix). Top with Cool Whip (entire tub). Decorate with Hershey's chocolate syrup and maraschino cherries. ENJOY!
