A 1-year-old boy died after his father said he left the child alone in a vehicle in East Windsor, according to police. The father told police he found his son blue and not breathing when he returned to check on him. The child was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested the father on a $1 million bond and charged him with risk of injury to a minor. Additional charges are pending. Police have not said how the child died or how long he was left in the vehicle.
