Deng Ai's trial is a short one just teaching you about taking over bases. If you've played any other Warriors game with bases then you really don't need an explanation for it. The bases with icons have different effects on them that affect your whole army, such as ones with a Sword icon raising your Attack when you take them. This stays with you for so long as you have the base, so it more or less functions as Morale.
I'm playing this game on emulator. There was only one other full playthrough of the game I saw on youtube, but I don't think it showed this mode and never showed the touch pad screen, so I wanted to do it myself to show all of it. Also just because it's one of the few Warriors games I hadn't played yet.
The game mostly runs fine emulated. When playing a movie it shoots up to 60 FPS so the movie plays at like 50% faster speed than it ought to, to get it to play in time with the audio I had to underclock the emulator for the first part of the first video, then set it back to normal after that. But other than that one instance, I've had no issues.
I frankly wasn't sure what to do with the screens, but I figured side-by-side was best, especially since I did need to use the touch pad screen. I could have minimized it to show more of the main screen but honestly the game looks worse the bigger you make it anyways. And I figure if I could play it like this and not be bothered, you could watch it like this. For those of you that will, most I think will just check the descriptions.
