The Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi face-off from before, except this time we're helping Sima Yi. It's kind of funny at the start Sima Yi is like "I will face you, Zhuge Liang! And I will finally put you in your place!" and then immediately turns to you going "Psst... Hey, help me out here. We can take him down together."
This stage is the 2nd hardest of Chapter 5, there's a lot to keep up with and it's pretty hectic. Which is maybe why they used Kid Around Ska for the theme of this one lol. First, Zhang Fei advances on you so you have to deal with him right away or he'll slaughter your allies. Around the same time, Zhao Yun ambushes Sima Shi, so you'll have to go to save him quickly if you want his help later in the fight, but Sima Shi tends to die no matter what you do anyways.
At that point you want to start taking bases as quickly as possible so you can get more ground forward. You'll have 2 minutes to defeat 5 messengers that are running all over the map, mostly through enemy territory that you can't reach without first taking bases in front.
Then multiple Zhuge Liang's will appear and you have 2 minutes to defeat the real one. They'll also re-take any bases they appear in. It's easy to SEE which is the real one, the fake ones are all dressed in alt color outfits. But you'll likely have to defeat a few of the fake ones just to take bases to reach the real Zhuge Liang that's moving around the battlefield, sometimes by running, sometimes by outright teleporting. Once that's done, Zhuge Liang is finally out of tricks and you can go take the main camp.
With as frantic as the stage is, and the fact they've got the joke music playing for this battle, it makes me think Zhuge Liang wasn't even taking this too seriously lol. After the fight, Sima Yi is ecstatic. Zhuge Liang says that he could tell what his strategies were, but he underestimated the strength of the player, to which Sima Yi just laughs more, saying how rare it is for Zhuge Liang to be a sore loser.
Also I like for Sima Yi's Musou Rush attack, he uses some hand-to-hand moves similar to how he fights in DW6.
