Little Silver Police (New Jersey) responded to a motor vehicle crash in which a car struck a utility pole, causing significant front-end damage and airbag deployment. The driver was not at the scene upon officers’ arrival but was later located nearby. Officers observed signs of impairment, and the driver admitted to operating the vehicle and leaving the scene.
