Responding to a call about an unresponsive individual in the road, I found the suspect, Mark, lying motionless. After several attempts, we managed to rouse him, but he was disoriented and highly uncooperative, initially denying any drug or alcohol use despite his clear impairment. As paramedics arrived to assess him, his behavior escalated from verbal abuse and threats to physical violence. He began swinging at us and, disturbingly, bit a first responder, breaking their toe. We had to use restraints to safely secure him for transport. Once fully restrained, his aggression dramatically subsided, and he became profusely apologetic for his actions. He was subsequently transported for medical evaluation and booking.
