I responded to a call for shoplifting where a female suspect was detained nearby. When questioned about the stolen merchandise, she admitted to the theft, claiming she was playing a 'game' called '21' and placed the stolen items into a random silver car. She was secured using flex cuffs due to a cast on her arm. After being read her Miranda rights, she admitted the car belonged to her boyfriend, who had rented it. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded several alarming discoveries, including multiple glass pipes, loose marijuana residue, prescription medications belonging to others, and multiple hidden containers. Most significantly, two safes/containers held large amounts of white powder and crystal substances, positively identified as crystal methamphetamine and other narcotics, totaling over 1,098 units/measurements, indicating trafficking-level possession. Charges for the suspect include Grand Theft (pending final dollar amount), Trafficking in Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The suspect became verbally aggressive during transport.
