Yet another contest entry. I sure have been doing a lot of these, haven't I? I decided I wanted to try something different and attempt a new genre. I'm not a huge fan of these newer electronic genres, but I do a like a few tracks here and there. One that I really liked was this cover by Mewmore (youtube.com/watch?v=j9IhUqYi6-8), so I tried taking elements that I liked from that cover and implementing them here. I definitely had a tough time trying to get my synths just right, which I'm imagining is the biggest hurdle of the genre. Anywho, let me know how I did and where I can improve! Feel free to drop a request as well. I'll try and fit it in somewhere. :)

Whaaaat? Another weekly upload? Yep, thats right. Im moving over to weekly uploads, since Im starting to finish these covers a lot quicker.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land was my first Kirby game, and also one of my main GBA games. This tune, however, I did not remember from the game. I was reminded of this tune due to a certain, very grand channel, listened to the actual source, and then was inspired to cover it. I was also listening to a Stevie Wonder album that I recently got, so some of Stevies inspiration wound up here and there in this mix. I also bought Super Audio Cart, so this tune was also an experiment on using that plugins functions. Overall, its just a fun little mix for a fun little tune! Week 2 of this months weekly uploads, and this one isnt from a video game! When I was growing up, my mother would sing songs that matched with what she was doing at the moment. When she was getting another cup of coffee, she would sing the first two lines of the chorus to this song. Pour me another cup of coffee! For it is the best in the land! I never knew who sung the song until recently, when I did some searching and found this tune by Buck Owens, and its not even about drinking coffee! Some more digging, I found that a man named Terry Fell was the original composer, and Buck Owens was in Terrys band when it was performed.
This idea came about just on a whim. What if this country song from the 60s was played in a chiptune style from the 80s? I put together a new bass line, and then everything else fell in place.
