It's been a year since I last logged on to YouTube. I see I have a lot of comments to catch up on!! Apologies to all :)
This video was inspired by the fact I recently added additional ATV Artist Cymbals to my kit, and also took delivery of the Alesis Strike Multipad (SMP). It's been a lot of fun starting to get to know the sounds and loops in the multipad, and I'm really enjoying my new splash cymbals!
Anyway, this is just me noodling around using one of the default SMP kits - 'Knife Jogger'. The sounds in the Mimic Pro are courtesy of Drum-Tec's 'Live Sound Edition' expansion, which I recently added. I usually use a much more Bonham type drum sound, but this tight snare kit ('Oak Emperor') is fun and seem to fit fairly well with the Knife Jogger loops.
