So, today we are out and about walking in the pretty Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter, which is located in Gloucestershire, England. It is located 4 miles South West of Stow-on-the-Wold and has a population of just under 200. The River Eye runs through the centre of the village. The village is home to the Lords of the Manor Hotel which dates back to 1649. Lower Slaughter has its own parish church which is the Church of St. Peter.
This is a second visit to Lower Slaughter, the first time around was unplanned and a shorter walk. Also, on this walk a new camera was used, which is the Dji Osmo Action 4, as the name implies, it is an action camera, which appears to perform fairly well in low light. It wasn't until after filming, I realised the exposure compensation was set to -3, so it was 3 stops under exposed, I bumped the exposure level up in post and was pleasantly surprised that the overall image was not too noisy, especially as given the fact that filming took place just after first light. What do you think of the image from the new camera?
