Hello friends. This evening we are out and about Christmas walking in the Cotswold town of Broadway.
As I started filming it was incredibly windy as you will see and hear from the first few scenes but the wind did dissipate somewhat as time went on. Despite the inclement weather conditions there were still a lot of people out and about soaking up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoying themselves. Once again I did not use an umbrella purely because I thought it would not last long in the strong winds plus I really needed to use two hands to try and steady the camera because of the nature of some of the shots. Speaking of hands, by the end of filming my hands were so cold I had great difficulty in putting the car key into the ignition barrel! I should also mention that the camera I was using was not weatherproof. Fortunately it survived!
This is now my third time of filming in Broadway at Christmas but no two films are ever the same. Broadway never fails to deliver the magical and atmospheric Christmas vibe. No doubt I will be back next December for round 4!
