Our Lead Pastor, Whit George, begins Holy Week.
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd believed He was the King they had been waiting for, and they were right, but not in the way they expected. They were looking for a king who would overthrow Rome. Instead, Jesus came to defeat something deeper. Sin, death, and the enemy itself, and while we remember His first coming during Holy Week, we’re also reminded of something we often forget:
He’s coming again.
So what does it look like to live ready?
• Put your hope in the right place—not in circumstances, but in Christ
• Stay awake—don’t drift into distraction or a meaningless life
• Encourage one another as we wait for His return
