This week, we kicked off our new teaching series, The Life of Abraham.
As we step into the beginning of Abraham’s story, we’re confronted with a clear and challenging call from God: “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you” (Genesis 12:1, ESV).
How often do we come to God asking Him to bless our plans? Abraham’s story reminds us that following God begins with surrender—denying ourselves, submitting to God’s will, and seeking Him not for what He can give, but for who He is.
