Our West Senior Pastor, Seth Swindall, begins week one of our new teaching series, Summer in the Psalms.
Psalm 1 gives us a clear picture of two paths: one that leads to life and one that leads to destruction. The blessed life isn’t defined by ease, comfort, or perfect circumstances—it’s the life of a person planted in the truth of God’s Word, nourished by His presence, and producing the kind of fruit that reflects His character.
In this message, Pastor Seth explores the following Scriptures:
Psalm 1:1-6 NET
How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers. Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the Lord’s commands; he meditates on his commands day and night. He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts. Not so with the wicked! Instead they are like wind-driven chaff. For this reason the wicked cannot withstand judgment, nor can sinners join the assembly of the godly. Certainly the Lord guards the way of the godly, but the way of the wicked ends in destruction.
Psalm 73:2-3 NET
But as for me, my feet almost slipped; my feet almost slid out from under me. For I envied those who are proud, as I observed the prosperity of the wicked.

About Church on the Move:
We are a family of churches in northeast Oklahoma. Our mission is to introduce people to the real Jesus. A lot of people know about Jesus but have yet to experience the life-changing power of His grace and truth. Knowing Jesus has transformed our lives, so our goal for each of our worship services, from our kids’ environments on up, is to help people know that same love.
We actively pursue Jesus in everything we do and we believe He’s given us a vision for a church that is deeply centered on Him and His word.
