Perun | Dominions 5 Disciples E9: "Machaka on the March" T35-37 @PerunAU | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
For more than a year now we've tried to keep the elf war balanced, locking team Kris and team GC in a quagmire that keeps them off our backs (without actually doing anything to directly harm them of course) as we desperately try and develop some sort of military capability.
In this episode, it becomes apparent that TNN and Vanheim are likely to fold soon under the immense pressure they face, particularly as more Machakan and allied forces march South on TNN's capital.
SO, we start doing the things we do best. We employ diplomacy to try and remove a front in the elf war to give Vanheim a little more room, and we start seriously thinking about how we're going to get our armies ready to fight, despite their natural weakness.
Also I may go on a rant about a certain endgame tactic that requires multiple L9 research paths, because I can't help but plan late-games. It's basically the only thing that cheers you up when you're playing EA Pelagia.
