I analyze passages like 1 Corinthians 1:16 to demonstrate that the divine oversight of Scripture allowed for natural human elements, including minor memory lapses, even while "Christ was speaking." If Paul could make an innocent error in detail while writing inspired Scripture, this fundamentally reshapes the "divine dictation" model many hold. Furthermore, I show that "Word of God" in the New Testament overwhelmingly refers to the core message of salvation rather than the written text itself. This understanding allows us to redefine inerrancy: the Bible is infallible because its meaning and message are without error, which is the only standard required for genuine authority.
