Carry-ons vs. checked bags is one of the more heated debates in the travel world, so let's see which one is truly better! A carry-on allows you to get around much easier, potentially save money on baggage fees, can keep you from overpacking, and even let you skip the check-in lines and baggage claim on your next trip. But it also comes with size and weight restrictions, potential headaches at security with the limitations on liquids specifically, and after all of that, you're still not guaranteed overhead bin space meaning you might have to gate check in some cases anyway. Checked bags offer way more space than a carry-on, allow you to be hands-free at the airport since you hand off your bag to the airline as soon as you arrive, and offer a lot more flexibility when packing liquids and certain electronics. They do however come with extra baggage fees in some cases, the risk of delayed, lost, or damaged baggage, longer waits on both ends of your travel day, limit your mobility especially on a fast-paced trip from trains to planes to taxis and can lead to overpacking. Obviously, there's no one-size-fits-all answer and it's really a personal preference that depends on the type of trip, but in my opinion, the advantages of a carry-on far out way the advantages of a checked bag and just allow me to get around way easier, save time, money, and I never have to stress about losing essential items while traveling. But let us know what you think of this debate down in the comments and check out the full video here for our full comparison because

This is American Airlines new Boeing 787-9P and the P stands for premium and the Daily Drop team was invited to check it out before it enters service and it definitely lives up to that premium name. Up front youll find a whopping 51 new flagship business class suites in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone configuration giving everyone direct aisle access and their own sliding door…perfect for introverts like me who dont want to talk to anybody on a long flight! American also took a page from airlines like JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic with 8 new Business Plus seats at the bulkheads. These come with 42% more space along with pajamas, and elevated bedding and amenity kits — halfway between business and first class. But that premium label doesnt just apply to the business class seats. Further back youll find 32 premium economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration sporting similar premium finishes as the business class seats we just looked at such as wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 13-inch 4K setback screen which isn’t bad for premium economy. Lastly, there are 143 standard economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration with similar sleek finishes and upgraded tech. American has 30 of these jets on order with 8 entering service this year plus theyll be retrofitting some 777-300ERs and will have these new seats on the new Airbus A321XLRs. The new premium seats are incredible, but more importantly, they signal a broader shift as American aims to offer a more premium experience to better compete with Delta One and United Polaris. This plane starts flying on June 5 and if you want to experience it on the cheap, you can snag business class seats from Chicago OHare to LAX this summer for just 26,500 American AAdvantage miles plus $5.60 in taxes and fees. Let us know if youd like us to give this new seat a proper try and learn more in our full article over on Daily Drop but
