Do Peptides Cause Cancer?

It's a far more complicated question than most people realize.
In the absence of definitive human data, we have to think in terms of biology. Some mechanisms could theoretically promote the growth of pre-existing tumors, while others could actually protect against cancer.

These include angiogenesis, growth factor signaling, thymic rejuvenation, tumor immunosurveillance, mitochondrial function, and chronic inflammation. The truth is, it may be a tug-of-war between competing mechanisms. Understanding them is the key to making an informed decision.
