We remember, folks. We remember it all.

We might not have distinct (declarative) memories of things that happened to us as a baby, or in utero, but trust me, the body remembers.

These are called implicit memories. They can show up as body movements that don't make much sense. Or as intense survival reactions such as terror, fear, or panic, that pop up out of nowhere.

Now I obviously can't teach you how to work with these early memories in a social media post, but I want you to know: we can work with these old pieces of our past.

And sometimes, we must do this so we can free ourselves from the strain, tension, and fear they left behind.

This is a short clip from a longer talk with my SBSM alum Kait where we dig into her experiences birthing her babies, her own trauma, and more.

Want to start building the foundations so you can process and heal old trauma? Start with my new offering, SBSM Foundations.
