Went flying at Eagle Island State Park with Marcus Crawford who is better known as Idaho Quadcopter. My thanks to Marcus for helping me sort out the firmware update issue with the DJI Mavic 3 Cine. This is mostly a behind the scenes look at flying the Mavic 3 Cine with flight video interspersed.
My initial impression, outside of the firmware issue, is that this quadcopter is a solid craft. The battery life is luxurious, and the out-of-the drone video is spectacular. The RC Pro is a game changer for me, the larger and brighter screen along with O3 (formerly Occusync) connectivity that is rock solid.
Nothing in life is perfect, besides peanut butter and chocolate, and the M3 has its share of issues. One challenge that I'm wrangling at the moment is file size management. Even the standard files are ginormous, so be prepared to have space to store and work with these files. My desk has a growing number of external hard drives scattered about it.
