Getting to the tiny village of Batopilas in Mexico's Copper Canyon (Barrancas del Cobre) requires a 5.5 hour bus ride on bumpy dirt roads so narrow that at times the bus seems to be hanging in mid-air over the canyon. This trip is not for the faint of heart or those who have a fear of heights, since there are no guard rails and road has a sheer drop off to the canyon floor below, but for the adventurous this is one of the most spectacular rides in the world.
