In preparation for the 1996 Summer Olympics, the City of Atlanta, Georgia constructed Centennial Olympic Park in the city's downtown. Its centerpiece was five Olympic circles embedded in the pavement, from which waters spout in syncopation with broadcast music. The Olympics are long gone, but the fountain remains, entertaining millions of visitors each year with the free show four times a day, 365 days a year, at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
