Materials:
- Approx. 60 ft of 3mm Classic String (Colour: Natural)

Hey guys! I have another intermediate pattern for you today. I hope you enjoy it! If you do, a quick like, comment and subscribe really does help me out. Let’s get started.

Cut 10 pieces of 3mm classic string, each piece is 6 ft in length. Fold each piece in half and attach to your dowel using Lark’s head knots.

Use the middle left cord as your filler cord and tie 5 dhhks to create top of the leaf shape on the right. Use the current middle left cord as your filler cord and tie 4 ddhks working down and to the left to create the top of the leaf shape on the left.

Use the current middle right cord as your filler cord and tie 4 ddhks to create the bottom half of the leaf shape. The fourth knot will connect the bottom and top of the leaf.

Tie 5 more dhhks using the same filler cord to create the top half of the second leaf on the right. Use the fifth cord from the right as your filler cord and tie 4 dhhks to create the bottom half of the second leaf.

Use the same process to create the bottom half of the first leaf on the left and then second leaf.

Use the 4 middle cords and tie a square knot (sk). Tie two alternating sks underneath the first sk. Tie three alternating sks underneath the second row. Tie four alternating sks underneath the third row. Tie three more rows of sks to mirror the top 3 rows.

Finish off the design by mirroring the leaf pattern from the top. I’ll take you through how to do this now.

This pattern would look so beautiful added as the centre design to a piece or repeated across your work. Thanks so much for watching!
