Materials:
- Scrap Rope
- Fillable Christmas ornament (I purchased mine at the Dollar Store)
2mm-6mm Natural and Coloured Cotton String and 3 Ply Rope are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop: etsy.com/ca/shop/LotsofKnotsCanada
12 Days of Christmas Playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG7GVVlY_TBhmHtaVyoYhx0OqIhP_3ak0
Hey guys! I have a short and sweet tutorial for you today - I will be making Christmas ornaments using scrap rope. Stay tuned for Friday’s tutorial where I will show you how to add a macrame design to the top of the ornament to make it really stand out.
To create this design you will need scrap rope and fillable Christmas ornaments (I purchased mine at the Dollar Store. I’ve also seen them at Michaels). Grab some scrap rope and cut it into pieces that are about 1 inch in length. Alternate between cutting your rope and then adding it to your ornament until the ornament is full.
Thanks so much for watching!
