In Part 2 of our Blatchford Carbon Neutral Community series, we meet Heather and Justin, early residents of this amazing neighbourhood, to discover what they love about living in this super sustainable community.
Blatchford is located on 500 acres in the middle of the city. It features many things you would not expect to find in a downtown location, such as a lake with wildlife, walking trails, a playground, a community garden, light rail transit, shopping, a hospital, and so much more.
Blatchford has a green building code and geo-exchange district heating, and it can accommodate 30,000 people who want to live a sustainable lifestyle.
