Art Journal pages don’t always need to be complicated. The @artofdinawakley MEdia Collage Sparks make a great starting point for journal pages, especially when working in grids Watch as Claire (@artjournallove) creates a journal page in the Kraft Journal using Collage Sparks as a starting point and adds rub-on butterflies to finish it off.🦋
Supplies:

-Kraft Journal
-Supplies
-Collage Sparks Collection 1
-Collage Paper: Bold
-Gel Medium
-Paint: Cheddar, Raspberry, Mustard, Iris, Black
-Stencils: Coaster 2 and 3, Feel Your Magic
-Chroma Transparencies: Painted Elements
-Rub-ons: Flutters
-Glue
Ranger Stickles: Aubergine
Stabilo All pencil
Instructions:
-Using Collage Sparks, choose three pieces that are similar colours and cut them into 7 cm squares.
-Stick them to the page using DWM glue in a vertical line, spacing them out evenly.
-Using the sheet of Blah Blah Blah, add some small pieces to each square.
-Using Cheddar, add a stripe of colour to each square—try and vary the positions of the mark on each square. While the paint is wet, use the Coaster 2 stencil and a baby wipe to lift the colour off. Do this on each square.
-Repeat using the colour Mustard, doing the same as in step 4.
-Use Coaster 3 and a Blending Tool and add some lines of stencilling.
-Get some Iris on a Blending Tool and do one circle of colour on each square.
-Cut some circles of colour from the Chroma Transparencies and add three to each square using DWM glue.
-Cut out three butterflies from the Flutters Rub-ons and add them to card. Cut them out again and stick one on the edge of each square.
-Outline each square with Stabilo All pencil and add some Stickles to the body of each butterfly.
-Find a quote from the Feel Your Magic stencils, add it to a piece of paper, and add it to your page. Finish off with some black splatters.
