KULT News audited in Tallahassee, FL recently and, as always, we had multiple folks call the cops on us for exercising our First Amendment rights.
Would the responding officers recognize and respect our First Amendment rights or would they placate the callers’ irrational fears anf fan the flames of paranoia?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
