The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform presents Digital Skills Talks, a series of online events covering key topics in the digital world. The Digital Skills Talks offer a chance to learn from digital skills experts and connect with the Digital Skills and Jobs Community.
On 27 February, the episode "From Innovation to Inclusion: Advancing Digital Health Literacy" explored how technology is shaping healthcare and the skills needed to make the most of digital tools.
Guest speakers included Diane Whitehouse, Principal eHealth Policy Consultant and Editor-in-Chief at EHTEL; Katja Nacevski, Programme Manager at the Skills Partnership for the Health Industry; and Juliette Verwer, Advisor at the Dutch Patient Federation.
The discussion focused on the challenges patients face when using digital health tools and how collaboration between patients, healthcare providers, and technology developers can help create better and more inclusive digital health policies.
