Across Italy, micro and small farms are the backbone of rural economies, but they often lack the resources to adopt digital tools. CHEDIH, the Italian European Digital Innovation Hub for sustainable agriculture, set out to change that.
Through targeted digital services, CHEDIH supported small farming enterprises in introducing data-driven technologies that optimise agricultural practices, resource use, and day-to-day decision-making. The result is a model for how digital innovation can make sustainable farming accessible to even the smallest producers.
This success story is one of five shortlisted for the EDIH Community Award at the EDIH Summit 2026.
