I worked on this clock a year or so ago and didn't remember it. The case was waxed and felt protected with the use of Howard Feed-n-Wax. I had to repair the topper and refresh the oil on the movement because why not if I had the clock back.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
