Showcasing Alphinaud as a secondary support/aura/attacker along with a tank.
Alphinaud is quite an interesting character with his newly implemented EX+.
On paper, he isn't particularly strong outside his ATK/mBRV aura at 85% and 75% respectively, and having the option of extreme longevity given the free skill following his EX HP+.
He has a free turn party battery on skill 1, but it isn't particularly potent.
He has a party heal on skill 2, but it is only capped at 20% Max HP Heal.
He has good hit count/overflow/splash on his upgraded BRV/HP+s, but his potencies are left wanting.
Individually, these are kind of deal breakers. But taken together, it means that he can fit into quite a lot of roles depending on the fight and the kind of team used with him, and that's what I've done.
Here, Alphinaud is functioning as a secondary support/attacker/aura in conjunction with Lenna, while Zack is the all purpose tank. As Lenna is able to handle the healing, Alphinaud can choose the option of HP+/BRV+ for more damage, and his skills becomes more of a EX recast tool.
Needless to say both Zack and Lenna welcomes that extra 85% ATK aura, now only if he also comes with additional overflow for the party...

![DFFOO JP - Old School Delay Strat vs. Cinque LC Chaos - Shadow/Setzer/Leo ft.Quistis
What is friend Quistis doing when Leo is a thing?
The [Action Delay Up] debuff from skill 1, or Turn Rate Down in GL.
While it is not strictly a SPD down, it work in tandem with a SPD down debuff to further slow the enemy down, and is quite useful here.
As for the fight proper, this time I went with a Freeze/Delay/Damage setup, pretty straight forward. DFFOO JP - Old School Delay Strat vs. Cinque LC Chaos - Shadow/Setzer/Leo ft.Quistis](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sG2zJnnLA44/mqdefault.jpg)
