In this stream we create a small demo "go-kart" racing game to show off how this type of game can be made in Godot. The emphasis here lies with how the XR rig is tied to the vehicle body of the race car. Especially the use of the "local" reference space was key to making this easy. We also had an interesting discussion about the OpenXR Action map and why it was build separate from the existing Godot input map even though at face value, they are similar.
