Bastiaan Olij | Godot VR Weapons tutorial part 4 - animating our gun and adding audio @BastiaanOlij | Uploaded April 2019 | Updated October 2024, 19 hours ago.
This is the fourth part in my tutorial series on handling weapons in VR using the Godot game engine.
In this part we'll look at animating our gun when we fire.
We'll also add some sound effects and implement some haptic feedback.
For the audio we'll have a brief look at Godots audio system and implement spatial audio.
While this tutorial series focusses on VR a lot of what is covered in this video applies to desktop games as well.
(and yes, I know I got a few numbers wrong, oops :) )
