This is my C64 SID 8580 cover of the legendary track by Depeche Mode — recreated using the iconic sound chip of the Commodore 64.
Only 3 voices. No samples. No modern plugins.
Just pure SID sound pushed to its absolute limits.
Every sound you hear was carefully crafted to stay true to the original while embracing the raw, crunchy character of the SID chip. The result? A version that feels like it could have been part of an 80s game soundtrack.
