Everyone Wanted a Terranigma Remake… I Made a C64 Demake! 🕹️
Okay, before anyone gets too excited: this is not a C64 version of the game. 😄
With all the recent Terranigma remake hype, I thought it would be the perfect time to imagine what its music could have sounded on the Commodore 64.
So I picked three tracks from the original game and recreated them for the SID chip:
🎵 Overworld Theme – using two SID chips (Dual-SID) to handle all the complex harmonies and musical layers of this beautiful piece
🎵 Prime Blue – the menu music
🎵 Zue Theme
This is my little Terranigma C64 Demake – not the game, just a glimpse at how its soundtrack might have sounded in an alternate 8-bit universe. 😉
If you love Terranigma, the C64, or simply hearing great game music pushed through the SID, I hope you enjoy it!
