Kris, Susie, and Ralsei continue to wander through the 3rd Sanctuary, aiming to find the Knight and put an end to their plans for the church. As they wander, they spot many new prophecies that weren't labeled within any of the other two Dark Sanctuaries... Eventually, they reach a wall, where Ralsei feels the Dark Fountain's presence from the other side. But before they can climb up, a pair of black blades strike it, preventing them from being able to reach! Then, Jackenstein's voice is heard! He offers to help them climb up, but as the trio rides on his back, more blades move to strike the wall and destroy it, causing them all to be sent plummeting towards the ground! However, before they touch the ground, they are caught by all of the Darkners that were recruited by the Lightners across their journeys! With this assistance, they are able to make it to the top of the wall, giving heartfelt gratitude before moving on.
