Kris, Susie, and Ralsei continue to venture forth into the 'Dark Sanctuary', when they happen to spot a tapestry showing three heroes. Ralsei says that it depicts the three of them, stating that they are all the Heroes of the Prophecy. As they marvel at it, a hammer strikes it, causing it to shatter! This sight greatly bewilders Susie, before the trio then continues forward. Because the tapestry showing the prophecy was shattered, the room has now become much darker than the ones before it. The only path forward is indicated by gold buttons, which make a ringing noise when stepped on. Ralsei is a bit perplexed by this darkness, but before much can be explained about it, they are chased by dark shapes...! Susie is able to find a light before long and is ready to fight. However, the enemies appear to have disappeared when a nearby light switch is flipped by an old man! This being appears to resemble Father Alvin to a degree, and starts to tag along with the Lightners, hoping to find the way back to his study. His antics appear to steadily get on Susie's nerves, which is further shown through battles...! Just who is this Old Man, and what connections could he have to this Dark World...?
