First things first, no, I am not interested in speedrunning this game. I just finished my casual completion the other night, and this section of the game stuck out to me for pretty self explanatory reasons, so I decided to do a no-hit run since I already started getting comments from everywhere about it lol.

Obviously massive gameplay spoilers here, although I ended up speeding through the text just because I don't want story stuff being spoiled to people since this game literally came out yesterday.

I also got here with my previous save file, which actually affects this fight! I've seen a friend have different ACT commands than I do because of the "Machine that thrashes your ass" that you built in chapter 1!

I obviously built the only correct machine, which involved selecting "Duck" for all options, so I got an ACT command that isn't as good as the generic one you get if you didn't use a save file. Because of this, I decided to not use ant ACT commands at all for this entire fight as well.

As far as the Punch Out mechanics are concerned, it's a pretty basic implementation. You cannot punch the Queen high or low, so there's no concept of guard manipulation to be found here. I can't detect any difference in damage or speed between your 2 punches, so it doesn't seem to matter which ones you use. Dodging tightly seems to affect the number of punches in a stun, in either being 1 or 3 punches. This usually doesn't become apparent until after Round 1 though, where attacks start to come out pretty fast.

Buffering inputs seems to not be nearly as lenient as any Punch Out games, so you need to time your punches pretty well, otherwise you'll just be standing there without doing anything, even though you've pressed the punch button. Also, at the start of most patterns the Queen throws out, she's vulnerable for a single jab once you gain control, and this seems to be consistent across all 3 rounds.

The only thing to really mention in Round 1 is that there's a baseball attack that happens sometimes if you aren't efficient in dealing damage, but as you can see in this video, it's completely saved for Round 2, which is good since it seems that if you punch all the balls early, you can get 4 punches in a stun, which is great since damage doesn't carry over between rounds. You can counter all baseballs as soon as you see the red target around them.

Round 2 she starts doing more complicated attacks, including spilling her battery acid drink at you, which is effectively the "delayed attack" to trip up players to dodge early and get hit for it. I actually almost messed it up at the end of Round 2, but realized the dodge was bad and compensated for my hits being short.

Round 3 is sick. I only learned about this when trying to get a no hit run, but apparently she acknowledges that you're on a no-hit pace and actually gives you HARDER PATTERNS and she starts glowing! Usually the dodging pattern at the start of Round 3 is slow paced and only has one row of Queens per dodge/duck, but *now* they come at you *fast* and you have to make sure the start and end of the dodge is long enough to where you recenter perfectly, meaning you need to start your dodge as late as possible. The rest of the attacks are mostly the same stuff, but I think she mixes it up a bit more than if you get here on a normal run (I could be wrong on this).
