Setting up a Mock Scrape for bucks pre rifle deer season. Some people use scent, some do not. I think when setting up a mock scrape, why not? It cannot hurt anything. I am getting this mock scrape up late, but better late than never! Also, we are picking the top of the ridge in this location as our base of operations this upcoming deer season. Gives you options and deer travel the ridges more during the day, as they can look down and see or smell trouble better than being at the bottom of ridges. We shall see!
