The Mystery Ranch Pop Up 40 hunting pack has so much potential, but what holds the Mystery Ranch Pop-Up 40 pack back is the small details. It could be the best hunting pack, but the Mystery Ranch Pop Up 40 pack has annoying locking webbing buckles and pressure based webbing glides. These really slow you down and can be difficult to use in cold gloved conditions. It somewhat ruined the experience for me, too much webbing and locks.
But, I did love how it carried the weight and was comfortable over the course of 8 miles we traversed on the opening day of deer season here in Pennsylvania.
