God is not an object somewhere outside the universe, watching creation from a distance.
God is the space in which everything appearsāthe infinite Presence within which every breath, every thought, every tree, every star, and every human being arises.
You are not standing outside of God trying to find your way back.
There is nowhere outside of God to stand.
The wave does not need to search for the ocean. It only needs to recognize what it has always been.
Perhaps awakening is simply this realization:
Everything is appearing in Godāand nothing has ever been separate.
