*All music in this video is written and recorded by me, and is copyrighted.
0:00 - Introduction & Tour (Song: "Major Trouble")
2:45 - Stage 1: Starter Base (Song: "Nature of Connection")
6:18 - Stage 2: Floors 3 & 4, Bedrooms, Honeycomb, Entrance Chutes (Song: "Turntable")
9:47 - Stage 3: Widegapped Defense Modules (Song: "Boward")
13:25 - Stage 4: Floorstacked Roof Bunkers, Roof, Final Honeycomb (Song: "Majnor")

Important Notes:
* In the video, I put ceilings on floors only after completing them.
That is done purely for cinematic reasons (lighting, aesthetics). There's no reason not to close the ceilings in before completing the floor itself, obviously.

* If you want to build the gatehouse I show as optional in the end of the build, make sure to move the actual TC a step back, so the disconnection mechanism will still function. Brainfart on my end.
Personally I wouldn't use those, I would use the pixelbunker gatehouses shown in my pixelbunker gatehouse video, built out from the actual TC enclosures, for a larger compound.

* Make whatever changes you like. If there's something you feel is missing for you, add it. If something feels unnecessary, remove it, if there's something you feel you should upgrade, upgrade it! :) You do you! :)

* Make sure to put build mats and kits in the bunkers when logging off. You'll be playing the day after a raid like nothing happened.
I can't tell you how many times this worked for me with my trio base (and for the many others using it).

THE DEATHKNELL MINI
Total Upkeep:
~15-17k Frags
~20k Stone
~60-170 HQM (Customizable, depending on upgrade paths)

Build Cost For Completed Version (Including deployables):
~65K frags (Roughly 2 boxes of metal)
~100K Stone (Roughly 3 boxes of stone)
~Variable HQM

PROS:
Offline Defense:
* 3 floating roof bunkers
* 5 walls to core at ground level

Online Defense:
* Widegap multi-purpose modules with multiple shooting angles + ramp peeks. Did not spend too much on them, but just enough, I think.
* Up to 18 beds in dedicated bedrooms.

General:
*Very cheap compared to group bases in the same class:
If build cost seems high relative to upkeep, that's because there are 7 TCs. The actual cost is better reflected by the upkeep, as the external TCs will lower overall upkeep to the point where the higher build cost will be covered for within a couple of days. And of course the 7 TCs supply ample grief-protection.
* Great for x2 etc. servers. There is much than can still be upgraded, and all upgrades have actual utility in this build.
Upgrading the modules, upgrading the shooting floors and roof, all these things are really useful.
*There's a ton of room on the roof, you can basically add another floor with no trouble at all, maybe a central tower, whatever you like.
*Most of the base is wide open at the center, extremely easy and quick to navigate. For a small group, 3 separate jump ups on the 'living floors (3&4) will prove very convenient.
Only the 1st floor core is tight, but it is more the cellar than the living room, so to speak, and intentionally made so to absorb a pummeling.
HOWEVER, turn on physics.steps 60 if you're failing the jump from chests onto the shelf in the core.

CONS:
* Only 3 bunkers as opposed to 6 in the bigger Deathknell V.2, but then it's not fair to compare a 24k metal base with a 16k metal base.
* No inner peeks. There are definitely cutbacks related to budget, things I would have liked to expand on and improve, but I set myself a budget and that is the only feature I felt confident isn't absolutely necessary.
* Probably some more stuff. Nobody's perfect and we improve from one try to the next :)

SPECIAL THANKS:

* D1srupted, Atmos4, & WalkerV2 -
Who all taught me different concepts related to widegap shooting floors, but also pretty much everything I know about building in Rust. They're the top of the top, the absolute best, especially as human beings, which is the most important.

* Mini-Satori, who first published the disconnectable TC that everyone uses now and which I show in this video, as it's quite simply the best.
His original video, on his quite magnificent channel:
youtube.com/watch?v=Opl1Yi1dIT0

Master builders such as SytrX, discloak, etc, who all proved themselves to be the nicest, most helpful, and inspiring builders.

* h0und, who's releasing videos again, making the most actually usable bases I've seen on youtube, inspiring me quite a bit.
Check his channel out if you want a base to actually build easily and use with confidence in Rust:
