110 years on, the legend of the Titanic still fascinates us, one way or another….Most appreciate the ship for her story and dramatic sinking, along with the many forms of media surrounding the vessel. Others go as far as to propose to rebuild the ship, be it a functioning vessel, or an attraction. Some however, such as myself, find the ship fascinating not only for her story, but for what she was as a vessel, and what could have been if not for the fateful events that occurred. Titanic is what got me into ships, an almost 8 year long journey of admiring these pure beasts of human labor and steel, all to go to waste by human error, war time, or simply serving long and credible careers, paying back their creators more than they could imagine.
