Today's the day, I did one for 4449's 80th, now 1522 on its 100th birthday gets one too. This equally famous steamer is a legend among railfans, and like Flying Scotsman three years ago, I've taken the time to make a video commemorating the day. But unlike the documentary format I did before with Scotsman, I've made the plot a bit more personal, here we see 1522 coming to The Big City for a birthday celebration. On the way, the engine reclaims its aux tender, and sees the world it has missed for quite some time.
Here's to a monument of a locomotive who joins many other locomotives in the Centenary Club!
Music Used: Southampton and Take Her To Sea by James Horner, and The Titanic Enters New York Harbor by City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Nic Raine (do note I edited the pitch by one key in Audacity to resemble the PAL version seen in Europe before anyone is understandably disappointed it's in a lower key than the one heard)
