We took a day trip to two sites within Bruce Peninsula National Park. Halfway Log Dump is a pebbly beach area with crystal blue waters the provide beautiful views of the Georgian bay. You can enjoy your time strolling along the shore and then take a hike towards the rocky escarpment which is quite the workout!
It is important to note that you have to book your parking pass online or over the phone before arriving at the park. Parking is $7.90/adult, $16/family and youth are free. The parking pass will allow you to access Halfway Log Dump and Singing Sands beach. You have to drive and park at each place, so you'll need to divide your time so that you can get a parking spot in each area.
Singing sands beach is an area where you can set up a canopy and bbq for the day. The water is very shallow so it's perfect for kids. There are campgrounds around here so that you can spend more time and explore the many sites of the park.
