This is the second installment of my experiments with the Moog Mavis. In this much shorter composition, there are three main layers recorded separately: the low resonant drone, the two stuttering voices panned hard to the edges, and the cold, sparkling chaos on the top. Again, besides some reverb on the drone and some delay on the top voice, everything your hearing is coming directly from the Moog Mavis.
I didn't have much in mind when starting this project, though when I finished the first layer it really reminded me of the stark and bitter cold front that swept through North America today. Adding the other layers were to accentuate that feeling.
This has been an absolute blast, and I am very happy with how versatile this little box has performed! Hope you enjoy.
